Welcome to the blog of Classics at Glasgow. We’ll be posting regularly here on the research being conducted in the subject area, both by staff and postgraduate students.

We have major ongoing multi-person research projects in the fields of politics (rhetoric) and ancient technology, and other research concentrations in the fields of drama, reception studies and historiography. You can find out more about our research and research projects by following the links on this page.

As part of the School of Humanities, we work particularly closely with our colleagues in Archaeology, Celtic and Gaelic, History, Humanities Computing (HATII) and Philosophy, but we collaborate across the university, all the way from Theology and Religious Studies to the School of Engineering.
