With their background in Theatre making and a love for the Classics, Alice decided to focus their project on the queer themes of Euripides’ Bacchae by readapting the play for a Drag-inspired performance, with the aim of making the story more accessible to a modern audience and demystifying the idea of Classical Theatre as something sacred and untouchable.

I wanted to create a comprehensive journal of my personal excavation experiences including personal reports, sketches, pictures, site background, and independent research. No one truly knows what an archaeological excavation is like until you get there. This journal was to provide the first hand accounts of information and emotions that I encountered on the digs that I participated in.
